How it started

When I was nine years old, I was lucky enough to be part of a children's cooking class. That class inspired a love of baking and a brownie – a very fudgy brownie that I perfected over the years in my mother's kitchen. It became my signature recipe which I kept secret and always brought out for holidays, special occasions and as gifts.

Following my heart...

I graduated from law school and was practicing law in Chicago before I realized that I really wanted to follow my heart and do what I love. That was the beginning of Blissful Brownies! Blissful Brownies continues to be my passion, and I believe my original recipes are the best. They are fudgy, unusually delicious and handmade in small batches using the highest quality ingredients and are beautifully packaged. Experimenting with flavors, varieties and new combinations, while still maintaining our high standards of quality, is both challenging and enjoyable.

Twenty years later (which went by very quickly!) I still thrill with every order, believing Blissful Brownies to be a treat that nurtures, lifts the spirits, and is beautiful. My goal is to elevate the humble brownie to a luxurious treat that delights all of the senses.
